Pre-Use Instructions (Machine Setup & Safety)

Before operating the Beautrix system, complete the following setup steps carefully to ensure safe and stable operation of the machine.

1. Handle Connection

  • Connect all treatment handles properly before powering on the machine.
  • Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locked into their ports.
  • Loose handle connections may cause system errors or unstable operation.

2. Water Filling Procedure (Cooling System)

  • Use filtered or distilled water only.
  • Locate the Water Input( INJECTION ) Nozzle and Overflow Nozzle.( Located at back side on Bottom Left ) 
  • Connect the water pipe to the INJECTION nozzle.
  • At the same time open the overflow nozzle cap.
  • Fill water slowly into the machine.
  • Once water begins coming out of the overflow nozzle, it means the tank is full.
  • First close the overflow nozzle cap.
  • Then remove the pipe from the input nozzle and close the input nozzle cap.

3. Water Maintenance

  • The cooling water must be changed every 10 days.
  • To drain the water, open the third nozzle (drainage nozzle).
  • The machine contains three water ports:
    • Water input nozzle
    • Overflow nozzle
    • Drainage nozzle
  • If water is not changed regularly, mineral deposits can choke the cooling system.
  • Operating the machine without water can burn internal components.

4. Important Safety Notice

Do NOT disconnect or remove handles while:
  • The machine is powered ON
  • There is water inside the cooling system
Doing so may damage internal electronics or connectors.

5. Power Connection

  • Always connect the machine using a voltage stabilizer.
  • Recommended power input: 230V stabilized supply.
  • This protects internal electronics from voltage fluctuations.

6. Laser Safety

  • Never point the laser handle toward the screen or control panel.
  • Always wear laser safety glasses when operating the laser handle.
  • Ensure both operator and patient are wearing protective eyewear.
Operator Reminder: Proper setup of water cooling, handle connections, and electrical supply ensures safe operation and extends the life of the machine.

What each control means

  • First pulse (ms): duration of the first light burst.
  • First interval (ms): pause between first & second burst (cooling time).
  • Secondary pulse (ms): duration of the second light burst.
  • Secondary interval (ms): pause after second burst (before next cycle).
  • Energy (J/cm²): intensity delivered (increase gradually).
  • Cooling icons: select cooling level (higher = stronger cooling).
  • Standby: keep in standby while setting parameters.

Handle Usage & Treatment Technique

  • Clean the treatment area properly.
  • Apply a sufficient layer of cooling gel.
  • Place the SHR handle flat against the skin.
  • Unlike single-shot IPL, SHR is used with a sliding technique.
  • Move the handle continuously in small circular or linear motions.
  • Maintain constant movement to gradually heat the hair follicle.
  • Do not stop the handle on one spot while firing.
  • Cover the entire treatment area evenly.

Pre-Treatment Preparation

  • Shave treatment area before hair removal session.
  • Ensure patient skin is clean and dry.
  • Apply cooling gel to allow smooth movement.
  • Operator and patient must wear protective glasses.

2) SHR Handle – Screen Controls & Parameters

SHR “Perfect pulse” is simplified: MS (pulse width), Hz (shots per second), and Energy (J/cm²). SHR handle filters: 532, 460, 640.

Filter Depth (basic) Typical purpose (follow protocol)

Parameter meanings

  • MS: pulse width (lower MS reduces heating per shot; higher MS increases thermal effect).
  • Hz: shots per second (higher Hz = faster coverage).
  • Energy (J/cm²): main intensity control (increase gradually).

3) Pico Handle – Filters, Power (mJ/cm²) & Frequency (Hz)

As per your instruction: ignore modes. This section only covers filters, power and Hz.

Filters (5 provided)

  • Black Doll – carbon facial workflow.
  • 1064 – deeper penetration (use as per protocol).
  • 532 – superficial targeting (use as per protocol).
  • 532 Non-Invasive – gentle 532 delivery (use as per protocol).
  • 1064/532 (2-in-1) – dual option for mixed conditions (use as per protocol).

Power & Hz meaning

Handle Usage & Treatment Technique

  • Clean the skin before starting treatment.
  • Select the appropriate filter (Black Doll / 1064 / 532).
  • Hold the pico handle perpendicular to the skin surface.
  • Maintain a small distance according to the tip design.
  • Deliver pulses evenly across the treatment area.
  • Do not repeatedly fire multiple shots on one spot.
  • Move gradually across the area to ensure uniform coverage.

Pre-Treatment Preparation

  • Ensure both operator and patient wear protective laser glasses.
  • Clean the skin and remove oil or cosmetics.
  • If performing carbon facial, apply carbon gel evenly before treatment.
  • Perform a test shot on a small area before full treatment.

4) RF Handle – Screen Controls & Parameters

RF screen shows three primary controls: MS, Frequency (Hz), and Energy (J/cm²).

Parameter meanings

  • MS: pulse duration / delivery time per RF pulse.
  • Frequency (Hz): pulses per second (treatment pace).
  • Energy (J/cm²): RF intensity output (increase gradually).

  • Apply conductive RF gel to the treatment area.
  • Place the RF head flat on the skin surface.
  • Move the handle slowly in circular or lifting motions.
  • Keep the handle moving continuously to distribute heat evenly.
  • Avoid holding the RF head stationary on one spot.
  • Monitor skin temperature and patient comfort.

Pre-Treatment Preparation

  • Ensure sufficient RF gel is applied.
  • Remove jewelry or metal accessories from treatment area.
  • Check that the skin is clean and dry.
  • Start with low energy and increase gradually.
